Directions

To get to the Space Needle from downtown Seattle:

Find your way to Alaskan Way—it's easy to find from wherever you are if you head toward the Elliott Bay waterfront
Head northwest on Alaskan Way
Alaskan Way turns right and becomes Broad Street
Follow Broad Street 0.2 miles to the intersection of 4th Avenue North and Broad Street
Turn left
Congratulations! Look up, you are at the Space Needle!

To get to the Space Needle from I-5 (from the North or South):

From I-5 take exit number 167 towards MERCER ST./SEATTLE CENTER
As you exit, get over to the rightmost lane
Turn right onto Fairview Avenue North
Turn left onto Valley Street, Valley Street becomes Broad Street
Continue on Broad Street 0.6 miles to the intersection of 4th Avenue North and Broad Street
Turn right
Congratulations! Look up, you are at the Space Needle!

Parking

Located at the base of the Seattle icon, the Space Needle's valet parking service is a time saver and a wonderful convenience. Plus, the cost of valet is the same or just a few dollars more than many of the area parking lots, which are located blocks away.

General Public and Observation Deck guests*

We do not accept the following for valet service:
vehicles over 6’11” tall, double-axel vehicles, vans with extended tops or customized vans, vehicles with trailers, motor homes and RV’s, commercial vehicles and box trucks, motorcycles, vehicles with animals (Washington State ordinance), vehicles with firearms, explosives, or hazardous substances, vehicles that have any operational defects which limit the ability to properly maneuver and increase Space Needle LLC liability based on physical condition

Coming with a group?

Motor Coach

The Space Needle motor coach loading zone is located on Broad Street, west of Fifth Avenue, in the southwest-bound lane.

Passengers may disembark and board the motor coach in this area, adjacent to our valet entrance. Motor coaches are not allowed in the valet turnaround.

The Space Needle valet parking attendants will be happy to assist your driver with directions to the nearest parking area.
